Connect PipelineOn to WordPress without pasting code
Install the plugin, connect and approve the exact website, then verify a live visit. A fresh activation alone does not start tracking.
How the WordPress plugin works
Install from WordPress.org
Add the official PipelineOn plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory. You do not need to edit your theme or paste a tracking tag.
Approve the exact website
After a fresh activation, choose Connect to PipelineOn, sign in or create an account, and approve the website you want to connect.
Wait for a verified visit
Connected means the website was approved. Live means PipelineOn has received a confirmed visit from that exact website.
Respect visitor privacy choices
The plugin supports the WP Consent API, excludes logged-in administrators, and adds suggested disclosure text under Settings > Privacy.
Install and connect PipelineOn
You need an Administrator account in WordPress and an owner account in PipelineOn. Do not share either password with support.

Install and activate PipelineOn
Install PipelineOn from the official directory and choose Activate. If Add Plugins search has not indexed the new listing yet, download the ZIP from WordPress.org and use Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. On a fresh installation, activation is local-only and does not start tracking.

Connect your website
Go to Settings > PipelineOn and choose Connect to PipelineOn. Sign in or create an account, then approve or add the website shown.

Confirm the Live status
WordPress returns to the settings page and checks tracking. If it remains connected but not live, choose Verify tracking now. WordPress opens one administrator test visit automatically; return to Settings > PipelineOn for the latest status.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.4 or newer
- PHP 7.4 or newer
- An HTTPS website
- WordPress Administrator access
- A PipelineOn account owner who can approve or add the exact website
Troubleshooting
Connected, but not Live
Use Verify tracking now. A cache, content-security policy, maintenance page, password protection, or consent setting may be preventing the visit from reaching PipelineOn.
The domain changed or the site was cloned
Tracking stays off when the current website address does not exactly match the approved address. Reconnect the correct website from Settings > PipelineOn.
PipelineOn was installed manually before
If the older setup matches, wait until the plugin shows Live, then remove it. If it does not match this website, tracking stays off until the older setup is removed.
Pause, deactivate, disconnect, or uninstall
Pausing or deactivating stops PipelineOn on newly generated pages, but deactivation keeps the saved connection for reactivation. Purge WordPress and CDN page caches. To remove the connection, choose Disconnect and wait for Disconnected before uninstalling.
WordPress Multisite
A Super Admin installs and network-activates the plugin. An Administrator then opens each target subsite and connects it separately from Settings > PipelineOn.

Review your visitor-consent setup and the suggested disclosure under WordPress Settings > Privacy before enabling tracking. PipelineOn's service is governed by its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
