What do you want to fix?

You might be happy with the postcards and still want a clearer view of the people receiving them. Or you might want to stop paying to collect visitors who are outside your area or looking at the wrong service.

PipelineOn is worth testing if you already get website traffic and want more control over the leads you collect. You can start free and look at your own results.

If you want one company to handle creative, printing and delivery, DOPE may fit better. Its Lead Capture service combines visitor matching, filtering and automated mail. It also lists a webhook connection. Those are real strengths.

DOPE details above are based on its public Lead Capture page. A feature we could not confirm is an open question, not proof that it is missing. Ask for a sample visitor record and export before making the move.

DOPE also offers Property Plus for permit-based home targeting. That is a separate audience use case. Check which property details come with the website visitor product you are buying.

Pay to collect the visits that fit your business.

Say you want roof replacement work in a handful of ZIP codes. With paid collection, PipelineOn lets you combine those ZIPs with a replacement page rule. You can also use tags from a specific ad campaign.

These rules are checked before a new lead is accepted for billing. A record that fails the rules does not become a paid lead through that collection step.

Page rules check the page where identification is attempted. Campaign rules need the tags to be present there. You can review a visitor's wider journey separately.

Narrower rules can reduce the number of leads you pay for. They can also miss a good prospect. Start with a useful service page, check the results and adjust.

A cheap postcard can still be an expensive lead.

Put every charge on the same page: the plan, visitor records, creative, print, postage and any connection between tools.

With PipelineOn

Start with up to five eligible homeowner IDs a day, free. Paid collection is $1 per eligible lead. Exact ZIP and custom page or campaign rules require paid collection.

Mailing is separate. Budget for the mail provider and any integration costs. A lead can incur the $1 charge even if you never send it a postcard.

With DOPE

Lead Capture lists visitor records as a paid item. Its lowest advertised postcard rate is $0.69. That is not a confirmed all-in price for identifying and mailing a visitor.

Check the current plan and postcard prices, then ask for the record charge and what happens when a record fails your filters.

For a worked example, use our postcard cost and ROI guide. Compare the cost of completed jobs, not just the number of cards sent.

Other DOPE alternatives worth considering.

Lob is a mail platform to compare if you want print delivery and connections to your existing systems. Handwrytten is more relevant when the job is sending personal notes to known contacts. PipelineOn fits the earlier step: finding useful homeowner leads from your website.

You do not have to move every campaign at once. Keep a neighborhood or past-customer mailing that works. Test website visitor collection on a specific service, with its own follow-up and budget.

Before you switch.

Can I replace all of DOPE with PipelineOn?

PipelineOn focuses on website traffic and homeowner leads. Postcards use an integration. If your DOPE account also runs neighborhood mail, print design or handwritten cards, map those jobs separately before switching.

Does DOPE lack visitor filtering?

No. DOPE advertises filtering. The comparison to make is which rules you can set, what you can inspect and when a visitor record becomes chargeable.

Will PipelineOn be cheaper?

That depends on your traffic, collection rules and mail costs. Compare a small test using the complete bill and the jobs it produces. We do not promise a fixed saving.

Can my agency run the test?

Yes. Start with one website and agree who will handle the leads. Our agency page explains how to keep the client involved.
